Mark Childs of Total Reward Solutions will be discussing the challenge of distinguishing between changing seasons and long-term climate change, including:
Mark is a Director of both the boutique reward consultancy, Total Reward Solutions and the search and interim firm, Total Reward Careers. He has previously headed up global compensation and benefits in Fidelity Investments, Seagram, Chubb, Reckitt & Colman plc and Forte plc. In additional to a wealth of international compensation and benefits experience Mark spent ten years as an HR generalist in both the public and private sectors and has an academic background in industrial relations. Mark is a Companion and former Vice President Reward of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development (CIPD). During this time he was an architect of the CIPD's Advanced Certificate in Reward Management and is Tutor for the Pensions, Share Schemes and Benefits module. He is also Consulting Editor of CIPD's Reward Management publication. |

The afternoon is split into two sessions:
Demographic Pressures on Benefit Provision
Benefit challenges in relation to international transfers
The first session will be led by Simon Brimblecombe and we will ask you to vote on a choice of two scenarios. We will then call on two expert witnesses who may make your change your views on what impact future demographic changes will have on benefit provision.
The second session will be led by John Carter of Towers Watson and will consider some of the different challenges which arise in relation to international transfers of employees. It will include contributions from two employers who will share their experiences on issues relating to the relocation of a global or regional head office and transfers involving US citizens.
The meeting is followed by our annual dinner. The cost for the dinner is CHF 60.- per person but fully paid up IEBA members can attend free of charge. |
