Once again, we will be returning to Brussels for the 18th IEBA Annual Conference, due to take place on 14 and 15 March 2018.
The programme is at https://www.ieba.org.uk/Conference/IEBA-Conference-2018.pdf
This is the 12th time we have held our Annual Conference in Brussels. Brussels has proved to be the ideal location where we can easily replicate and build on the previous highly successful Conferences, where we have enjoyed consistently high levels of attendance from a wide variety of countries, and also received very positive feedback ('A very worthwhile conference' - 'A good balance of subjects' - 'Great and smooth overall organisation' - 'Great opportunity for networking' - 'Fantastic dinner' - etc.). Our tried and tested format includes finishing early on the second day so that delegates travelling by air will be able to attend the whole conference and still have plenty of time to travel to the airport to catch their flights home. The Annual General Meeting of the Association will be on the afternoon of the first day.
Delegate fees remain unchanged from last year, with a pricing philosophy developed in order to attract the maximum number of delegates:
The price includes all meals, including the Gala Dinner on 14 March.
For delegates who are new to IEBA (i.e. are not, and have not previously been, members) and who are attending the Annual Conference for the first time, the fee will include a year's free membership for the 2018/19 membership year.
As in previous years, in order to achieve a good balance of delegates, we will be limiting the number of paying delegates to two from each organisation that is a service provider (insurance company, consultant, broker, etc), considering "organisation" on a global basis so including global headquarters as well as subsidiary or partner companies. We do not limit attendance from corporate delegates (i.e. those responsible for the employee benefits of their organisation's own employees). Therefore, if you are from a large organisation that is a service provider, you may wish to coordinate with your colleagues, including those in other countries and/or at global headquarters.
Please register at the Conference website http://iebaconference.com where you will also find details of the Conference organisation (timetable, accommodation, useful information, and terms & conditions). If you are unable to register using the Conference website, please contact us in the usual way.
We held another very successful Annual Conference on 14 and 15 March 2018. This was the 12th time we have held our Annual Conference in Brussels; it has proved to be the ideal location where we can easily replicate and build on the previous highly successful Conferences, where we have enjoyed consistently high levels of attendance from a wide variety of countries, and also received very positive feedback ('A very worthwhile conference' - 'A good balance of subjects' - 'Great and smooth overall organisation' - 'Great opportunity for networking' - 'Fantastic dinner' - etc.).
We had a record number of delegates (over 180) and our efforts to balance the proportion of employers to service providers (consultants, insurance companies, etc) paid off. Almost 50% of the delegates were from employers.
Copies of the presentations are available below for members who are logged in.
We look forward to seeing many of you at the next Annual Conference in Brussels in March 2019!
