Recently the European Committee introduced a new EU Regulation related to Privacy. This Regulation is expected to have major impact and means a change in our data protection management. How to avoid the proposed penalties of up to € 1 million?

To fully understand this new Regulation, the background in establishing this – including the juicy background stories such as the striking USA influence – will be shared. Don’t underestimate it’s expected impact! 

Recognized  and anticipated for? Time to develop a policy both on a local and international level! How should this than look like?

II  An Auditor’s Point of View On Managing Benefits
In today’s fast pacing environment we’re working in, ‘centralization’, ‘control’, ‘grasp on’ and ‘manage’ risks are key. Also tearing down ‘brick walls’, work around ‘silo’s’ by ‘reaching out’ to other functions such as finance, is high on our agenda’s.

In the old days, the auditor was there to take a close look at pension obligations and to give the blessing on assumptions and the like. Nowadays, there’s serious interest in what C&B is all about.

The speaker will share his ideas in how an auditor looks at managing benefits. Different interest, different background and different point of views. How large is the gap – if any?
